Decade of Global Partnership: UM and UBJ Renew Ties

UM and Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya (UBJ) renews its partnership with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding in UBJ Campus in Indonesia last February 5, 2026. Now entering its third cycle and 10th year, this partnership stands as UM’s testament to its commitment to the CHEd ACHIEVE agenda of Expanded Internationalization.
Over the last 10 years, this collaboration has flourished through: comprehensive academic exchanges, high-impact joint research projects, dynamic short-term programs, strategic institutional benchmarking.
The ceremonial signing was led by UM President and CEO, Dr. Guillermo P. Torres Jr, and UBJ Rector, Dr. Bambang Karsono. Joining the delegation to witness this milestone were Dr. Ronnie Amorado, SVP for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Reynaldo Castro, VP for External Relations and International Affairs.
As UM look forward the future, this renewal promises even more opportunities for its students and faculty members to engage in the global academic arena, fostering innovation and cultural exchange across borders.
